As an alternative to trick-or-treating around the neighborhood, a trunk-or-treat gives your kiddos every opportunity to fill up their bags with nutritious, healthy, 100% natural goodies. Trunk or Treat in Birmingham

Where: Shades Mountain Baptist Church, Birmingham, AL

What: The entire parking lot at Shades Mountain will be absolutely packed with vehicles, families, games, food trucks, and more activities than you can shake a spooky stick at. Bring the family. Invite a friend. Just go!

VHUMC Trunk or Treat

When: Wednesday, 10/26/2022 | 6:00-8:00 PM

Where: United Methodist Church, Vestavia Hills, AL

What: The Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church trunk-or-treat is one of the quieter events in town, but that doesn’t mean it’s not fun! (Really, how can candy not be fun?)

Trunk or Treat at Metropolitan Church

When: Wednesday, 10/26/2022 | 6:30 PM

Where: Metropolitan Church, Birmingham, AL

What: In addition to normal trunk-or-treating activities, this safe Birmingham event will have inflatables, food, and hayrides.

2nd Annual SOE Halloween Trunk or Treat 2022

When: Thursday, 10/27/2022 | 5:00-6:30 PM

Where: University of Alabama Birmingham – Education and Engineering Complex, Student Parking Lot, Birmingham, AL

What: UAB’s School of Education is hosting their second annual trunk-or-treat in Birmingham. Everyone’s invited, including school staff and students, families and the rest of the public. If you’d like to decorate your trunk, reserve a spot ASAP.

4th Annual Downtown Calera Trunk or Treat

When: Thursday, 10/27/2022 | 5:30-8:00 PM

Where: Calera Main Street

What: If you love closer to Hoover, AL, you may want to head south for the huge trunk-or-treat event in Calera. Now in its fourth year, this local Halloween event brings dozens of Calera churches, businesses and organizations together—as well as perhaps hundreds of decorated vehicles along Highway 25 and Highway 31. Trunk-or-Treat in Pelham

Where: Simple Tax Solutions, Pelham, AL

What: Strap on your best Halloween costume and enjoy the sights and sounds of this Pelham trunk-or-treat. Before going home, let the kids take a few thousand bounces in the inflatable, too.

Trunk or Treat and Alpha Charlie Grill Car Show

Trunk or Treat in Alabaster

Where: First United Methodist Church of Alabaster, AL

What: More than 200 families will be attending this annual Halloween event in Alabaster—will you be one of them? In addition to candy, the FUMC will also have fun games, face painting, and other activities for kids, teens and adults.

Trunk-or-Treat & Haunted House

Where: ATA Action Martial Arts, Hoover, AL

What: This Hoover trunk-or-treat is free to the public. If you’re worried about the haunted house being too scary, don’t be! The indoor activity is very mild and suitable for most children over the age of 2. Wear your best costume and enter into the Costume Contest to win a prize.

NBMBC Annual Trunk or Treat Event

That includes candy, jump houses, music, dancing, and a chili/soup cook-off. Come hungry and leave with a stomach full of chili and a bag full of candy.

Pineywoods Fire Dept’s 3rd Annual Trunk-or-Treat

Where: Pineywoods Volunteer Fire Department, Jasper, AL

What: This free Halloween event in Jasper will be half trunk-or-treat, half “touch a truck,” and 100% fun for the whole family. Bounce in the bounce house. Meet a firefighter. Check out the fire trucks. And get some candy, too!

Trunk or Treat ‘Stop the Violence’ Street Rally

The church calls it their “Hallelujah Night Celebration 2022,” and it will include decorated trunk and candy stations, as well as live musical performances, face painting, games, hot dogs, and more.
